Nigerian TV presenter and media personality Shade Ladipo has said that she doesn’t think she wants to give birth to a child, even though she likes children.
The popular broadcaster who got married to her husband Jide in 2018 said there is no need for her vagina or body to go through the “mess” of childbirth.
Shade wrote on Instagram:
“I actually don’t think I want to give birth to a child. I love babies and I’m great with them but there is no need for my vagina or body to go through that mess. Sorry.”
Shade Ladipo is not the first woman to open up about their unwillingness to go through pregnancy and childbirth. Recent statistics have shown that more women are choosing not to have kids these days.
According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics, the number of couples without children will overtake the number of couples with children in the next 10 years.
