Nigerian comedian Bovi has called out popular Nollywood film director, Niyi Akinmolayan over his conduct during the shooting of Bovi’s recently released movie, “My Village People”.
Bovi in a lengthy Instagram post attacked Niyi Akinmolayan after he posted the movie on his page, describing him as a “clout chaser” who only decided to share the movie after seeing that it has gained favorable reception from the public.
Bovi explained in his post that Niyi Akinmolayan “deliberately refused to identify with the movie” since its release, disclosing that Niyi Akinmolayan (who he hired as the director) tried to shut down the production on the third day following a disagreement they had about the script.
The Edo State-born comedian whose real name is Abovi Ugboma called Niyi Akinmolayan over-hyped, who according to him, is “theoretically informed but practically inept.”
