Yetunde Oni is a Nigerian banker. She is the current Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Union Bank of Nigeria. Oni became the CEO in January 2024, after the Central Bank of Nigeria sacked the former MD, Mudassir Amray.
Before becoming Union Bank CEO, Yetunde Oni worked for almost 19 years at Standard Chartered Bank (SCB). In fact, she was the first female Managing Director and CEO of SCB in Sierra Leone.
Yetunde Oni’s full name is Yetunde Bolanle Oni. According to reports, she was born on October 24, 1969, in Lagos, Nigeria. The Union Bank MD is 54 years old as of April 2024.
