About Access bank
Access Bank is one of the top 5 largest banks in Nigeria. It is a licensed commercial bank and multinational corporation registered with the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
It was initially a corporate bank but was expanded into a personal and business bank after it took over Intercontinental Bank in 2012. It has employed more than 28,000 staff (as of 2021) and currently boasts of over 42 million customers after it merged with Diamond Bank.

Ways to transfer money from Access Bank to other banks
There are four top ways of transferring money from your Access bank account to another Access account or to other banks.
They are:

Access Bank USSD Transfer Code
The Access bank USSD code is *901# and it is accessible to everyone. Even people who don’t have an account with the bank can easily open one with the code.
To register for the Acess Bank USSD service, you need to do the following:
- Dial *901#
- Click on transfer
- Enter the last 6 digits of your debit card number or your date of birth in absence of a debit card number
- Enter your account number and create a 4-digit pin number.
