Barbadian singer and businesswoman Rihanna has hired her first little person model for her Savage x Fenty lingerie line.
Tamera McLaughlin is the latest ambassador to join the Savage x Fenty family. She’s also the first little person to model the lingerie brand.
Model Tamera McLaughlin shared the exciting news on her Instagram page, writing:
“The first Little Person Ambassador ? @Savagexfenty #SavageXAmbassador.”
The move has earned Rihanna more applause in her commitment to inclusivity.
Contrary to how lingerie giants like Victoria’s Secret flaunt perfect-looking models, Rihanna’s innerwear line adopted an all-inclusive approach, making bra sizes from 30A to 42H and panties and sleepwear ranging from XS to 3X.
Savage x Fenty also uses a diverse array of models in its fashion shows, a move that has rewarded the brand with an impressive fanbase and astronomical growth in revenue.
