Sunday Igboho accuses Ooni of Ife of bribery

Yoruba activist, Sunday Adeniyi Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, has taken to Twitter to accuse the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi (Ojaja II) of bribery, cowardice, and betrayal.

The video has since gone viral on social media.

In the video, Sunday Igboho alleged that the traditional leader with the Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrasheed Akanbi as well as other key political officers, such as the former Governor of Lagos State, Ashiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, are enslaved to the northern leaders populating the seat of power.

He added that the Yoruba leaders pretend to be tough in front of the people only to go mute once they are bribed by the northern leaders.

Mr Igboho proposed the use of AK47 to attack those he suggests are betraying the Yoruba people.

Many social media users supported the youth leader’s fight but condemned his approach.

Sunday Igboho later apologized to the Ooni of Ife for calling him names:
