Nkechi Blessing Sunday’s childhood and education
Nkechi Blessing was born on February 14, 1989, to Mrs. Gloria Sunday. The 32-year-old actress from Abia state was born and bred in Surulere, Lagos State.
Reports had it that the actress is the only daughter of her mother since she lost her brother to the cold hands of death in June 2017.
However, some other reports claimed that Nkechi Blessing has a sister named Jennifer Ijeoma Sunday, a brand ambassador and light-skinned model who recently did a topless photoshoot.
The actress often refers to her mother as her favourite person, however, there is no information about her father. Unfortunately, the actress lost her beloved mother on September 3, 2021, while preparing for the premiere of her movies in Lagos’s biggest theatres.

Nkechi Blessing launched her career as an actress in 2008 after she featured in the movie ‘Omo Bewaji’ which served as a minor break for her. The movie was produced by her friend, Kemi Korede who cast her in the movie upon discovering her passion for acting.
Nkechi’s role in the movie prompted her meeting with Emeka Duru who gave her a supporting role in Emem Isong’s 2009 movie titled ‘Through The Fire’.
Her lead role in the 2012 movie ‘Kafila Omo Ibadan’ shot her into full prominence. The movie was produced by Temitope Bali whom she met in South Africa.
Nkechi Blessing made her productional debut movie titled ‘Omoge Lekki’ in 2015 starring herself alongside veteran Nollywood actor Yinka Quadri.
