Oberz’ childhood and education
Oberz is a native of Ogun State, but he spent most of his childhood in Lagos. He was born on the 5th of October, 1990, and he is presently 30 years old.
Oberz graduated from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB).
Not much information is available regarding Oberz’ education and other schools he attended. His course of study and year of graduation from the university are not available at the time of writing this biography. Sources have it that Oberz’ went to FUNAAB alongside top Nigerian musician, Kizz Daniel.
Oberz’ music career
Oberz music career began officially when he released his debut single, “Suffer” in 2019. Before that, Oberz had been seen on various occasions ‘chilling’ with Zlatan Ibile. There was an initial fuss on the internet as to whether Oberz was related to Zlatan Ibile. The air, however, was cleared when Zlatan Ibile announced he has signed Oberz to his Zanku Records.
Oberz has released a couple of singles but only hit fame after he was signed to Zanku Records, alongside other new talents – Papisnoop and Jamo Pyper.
Since his debut, Oberz has made significant growth in the music industry. He has been featured by other popular musicians, including Papisnoop, Terry Apata, SAC, Jamo Pyper, and of course, Zlatan Ibile. He also did a verse on Zlatan’s hit song, ‘Unripe Pawpaw’.
The young talent has also released a couple of hit songs, including “Ezinne”, “In the Game”, “Champion”, and “Hottest”.
