Who is Deyemi Okanlawon?
Deyemi Okanlawon is a Nigerian actor, producer, voice-over artist, model, and entrepreneur. He is the Head Distributor at Silverbird Distribution Limited.
The April-born actor was born in Lagos state to an aircraft engineer father named Adeyemi Okanlawon. His mother, Adeyinka Okanlawon, is a baker and businesswoman. He is the second of five children.
Deyemi Okanlawon has a degree in Chemical Engineering from the prestigious University of Lagos and a certificate in Acting from the New York Film Academy.
Deyemi was a baker and a Sales and Marketing Representative before he ventured into acting. He is best known for his roles in the TV series Gidi Up, Castle and Castle, and An African City.
The actor made his movie debut in the 2010 movie ‘ZR-7‘ after which he featured in a short film titled ‘A Grain of Wheat’. He became popularly known in 2012 for starring in and co-producing numerous internet short films and web series.
Deyemi became a full-blown actor in 2013 and has since then featured in over 120 films, and over 8 stage plays. The actor has also appeared in music videos of different Nigerian singers like Waje, Aramide, and Falz. He has also appeared in TV commercials for OLX and GLO.

Deyemi Okanlawon is a happily married man. The actor has been married for over eight years with two children. Deyemi Okanlawon is married to the love of his youth, Mrs Damilola Okanlawon. The lovebirds met during their university days at the University of Lagos where they were both studying Chemical Engineering.
As of the time of their meeting, Damilola was two years Deyemi’s junior. They dated for about two years and tied the nuptial knot on January 5, 2013, after he proposed to her at a five-star restaurant.
Deyemi has been able to keep his marital life away from media rumours and the kind of controversies that often characterize celebrity marriages. However, Deyemi does not hesitate to flaunt his lovely family on his social media page whenever he has the chance to do so.
The actor took his wife on a honeymoon trip to France after six years of their marriage. According to the actor, he couldn’t afford the trip until after six years of their marriage.
He is also always taking his time to pen down heart-melting messages to his wife on social media each time they celebrate their wedding anniversary.

Damilola Okanlawon is the lawfully wedded wife of Nigerian actor, Deyemi Okanlawon. She currently works as the Key Account Manager for Danone, a top Nigerian food company that manufactures FanMilk. She has also worked with other prestigious organizations in Nigeria such as Guinness Nigeria, GSK, and Tranter IT infrastructure services.
The proud mother of two is a graduate of Chemical Engineering from the University of Lagos and also a graduate of the Management Development Program from the University of Stellenbosch.

Deyemi Okanlawon has two lovely sons. His first son, Demide Okanlawon was born on July 10, 2016, after three years of his marriage in Dallas Texas USA.
The actor revealed his first son to the public with a remarkable short film titled ‘For My Son’. His second child, Adeife Oluwatunwase Okanlawon, was born on December 18, 2017.
