Nigerian disc jockey and music artist Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has denied the allegation that she did not pay Zlatan Ibile for their collaboration in her 2019 hit song “Gelato“.
Cuppy also in her recent social media statement revealed she will be suing Davido’s personal assistant, Israel DMW, who made the allegation.
After it became public that DJ Cuppy and Zlatan are not on good terms, a personal assistant to music star Davido called Israel DMW alleged that the cause of their rift is because DJ Cuppy failed to pay Zlatan for the service he rendered to her.
DJ Cuppy has responded to the accusation, denying it and threatening to sue Israel DMW.
The 28-year-old daughter of a billionaire wrote on social media:
“For the record… There have been no breaches of my contractual agreement regarding the song #Gelato as confirmed by lawyers… However, as @IsrealDMW publicly inaccurately declared I owe an artist money, I am suing him for libel and defamation! See you in court Isreal.”
