Davido’s personal assistant, Afeare Israel, popularly known as Israel DMW, has responded to the threat of a lawsuit by Nigerian disc jockey and music artist, DJ Cuppy.
DJ Cuppy had in an earlier social media statement disclosed that she will be suing Israel DMW for libel and defamation following his allegation that she is owing Zlatan Ibile, for the “Gelato” song collaboration they did in 2019.
DJ Cuppy in her statement denied owing Zlatan and then threatened to take Israel DMW to court for defamation of character.
Israel DMW responded to DJ Cuppy’s lawsuit threat by affirming what he said earlier.
In his reply, the Edo-born artist assistant asked Cuppy if she has ever sent money to Zlatan in her entire life.
He wrote on his Instagram page:
“Have you ever in entire life giving money to Zlatan, any Kobo? Did he pay for his hotel bill, food at Transcorp Hilton or not?”
