Nigeria’s Chief of Army Staff, Major General Ibrahim Attahiru has died in an air crash while on an official trip to Kaduna State, according to multiple media reports.
While the Nigerian Army is yet to make any official statement on Attahiru’s death, as of the time of writing, the Nigerian Air Force has confirmed that one of its aircraft crashed on Friday near Kaduna International Airport.
Ibrahim Attahiru was killed alongside other military chiefs and aides who were on the same flight, according to reports.
