A new report has emerged disputing earlier claims in the media that Chief of Army Staff’s wife, Mrs Fati Attahiru had died in the air crash with him.
Mohammed Dattijo, an aide to the Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has also confirmed that Mrs Fati Attahiru is alive.
He wrote in a short social media statement on Friday night:
“It is incorrect; the wife is alive. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace.”
