Zubby Michael’s childhood and education

Zubby Michael was born on the 1^st of February, 1985. He is currently 36 years old. He was born in Ozubulu, Anambra State, but was raised in Yola, Adamawa. Information regarding his primary and secondary education are not currently available. He, however, bagged a BSc degree in Mass Communication from Nnamdi Azikwe University, Anambra State.  

Zubby Michael’s acting career

Zubby Michael officially began his acting career in 2006. Prior to that, he actively participated in his church and school’s drama society. His debut movie was “The Three Widows”. He, however, did not rise to fame until he acted in the hit movies, “Royal Storm” and “The Generals”. He starred in the movies alongside popular moguls in the Nollywood industry, including: Uche Jumbo, Sylvester Madu, Jim Iyke, among others.

Zubby mentioned that he began his acting career in Yola. According to him, he met a movie producer who introduced him to the industry, and he casually featured in a movie titled: “Missing Rib”.  He also revealed in an interview with The Vanguard that he used to be a successful business man before he ventured into acting full-time.

The young actor is known to feature mostly as a gangster in Nollywood action movies. He has starred alongside other Nollywood stars such as: Olu Jacobs, Mercy Johnson, Emeka Ike, John Okafor a.k.a. Mr. Ibu, Patience Ozokwor, among others.

In addition, Zubby Michael works as a producer. His first movie production, “First Hit”, featured Nollywood stars such as: Nonso Diobi, Junior Pope, and Ebere Okaro. Zubby Michael has also featured in over 200 movies and still counting.

Zubby Michael is currently single. He was allegedly romantically involved Mary who is the younger sister of hip-hop stars, Peter and Paul Okoye. The duo, however, have broken up. According to Zubby, he is not ready for commitment yet.
