Uju Okoli was born on the 26^th of April, 1983 in Ideato, Imo State. She was born into a family of seven siblings, but their names are not known. She, however, has an elder brother named Tony Okoli who is also a budding Nollywood actor.

Uju Okoli was raised along with her siblings in Warri, Delta State.

Uju Okoli completed her primary and secondary education in Warri, Delta State. Information regarding the names of the schools she attended is currently not known. The actress is quite popular for living a low-key life without much media attention.

Uju Okoli officially began her career as an actress in 2010. She was majorly acting as a supporting character with minor roles. In 2015, Uju featured in a TV series titled “The Palace”. The movie brought her to the limelight and earned her bigger roles. She, however, rose fully to stardom in 2019 when she starred in the hit movie, “Lost Son”.
