Ebuka Obi Uchendu is a Nigerian lawyer and media personality. He is well known for hosting and co-hosting popular TV shows like Big Brother Naija, Rubbin Minds, The Spot, Men’s Corner, and Judging Matters.
Ebuka Obi-Uchendu was also the host of the first-ever Nigerian presidential debate focused on youth issues during the 2011 general elections.
Ebuka graduated from the University of Abuja as a law student in 2004. He was called to bar in 2005 after finishing from the Nigerian Law School in Bwari, Abuja.
He later obtained a Master’s degree in Law after 5 years of working experience from the American University Washington College of Law in December 2010, specializing in Intellectual Property Law as well as Communications Law from the Law and Government Program.
Before becoming the show’s host, Ebuka was among the 14 housemates to participate in the first season of the Big Brother Nigeria reality show in 2006, finishing in eighth place.

Ebuka Obi-Uchendu’s rumored relationship with Cee-C
Unlike most celebrity marriages, there has been no major scandal or controversy around Ebuka Obi-Uchendu’s marriage, except in 2018.
In 2018, it was rumoured that Ebuka Obi-Uchendu had an affair with Cee-C Nwadiora, one of the housemates of the 2018 BBNaija season.
The talks started after Cee-C from the 2018 ‘Double Wahala’ edition of Big Brother Naija mentioned while in the house that she has met Ebuka before the show.
Some of the reports had it that Cee-C was Ebuka’s ex and he had decided to bring her to the show as compensation.
Both parties blatantly denied the allegations. From Cee-C’s end, she revealed she truly had met Ebuka in an event before the show, but they were never lovers or involved in any form of relationship.
Ebuka also denied the rumours, stating that he had only met Cee-C on the Big Brother Naija stage and their previous meeting did not occur to him not until he heard what she said during the show. He explained that his profession made him attend a lot of events and he might have met Cee-C at one of such events.
Ebuka Obi-Uchendu’s wife, Cynthia, also denied the allegation of being related to Cee-C, stating that she had never met Cee-C, who finished as the show’s first runner-up before.
