An old photo showing one of the BBNaija Lockdown housemates Kiddwaya posing with the host of the show, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu has ignited fresh controversy about the transparency of the show’s selection process.
The organizers of the BBNaija reality TV show MultiChoice has often been criticized for hosting fake auditions after they had internally selected the housemates.
Most reality TV competitions have a standing rule that friends and family of members of the organizing or management team are not allowed to participate. Kiddwaya is not the first BBNaija housemate to have been found to know Ebuka before the show.
Last year, during the BBNaija Pepper Dem season, one of the housemates – Mike Edwards – was also later discovered to have hanged out with Ebuka several times before the show began.
The picture of Kiddwaya and Ebuka Obi-Uchendu is currently circulating online with people accusing BBNaija organizers of corruption in their housemates’ selection process.
