Who is Gideon Okeke?
Gideon Okeke is a Nigerian actor, model and TV host.
He was born on the 23rd of July, 1983. He is known for playing the character “Philip Ade Williams” in the award-winning M-Net TV series, Tinsel.
He hails from Abagana – a town in Anambra State, Nigeria. He was raised as an only child in the Ajegunle area of Lagos by his father who owned a bakery and his mother who devoted her time to see to the growth of the bakery by all means.
Education
Gideon Okeke had his nursery and primary school education in TADE Nursery and Primary School, Apapa, Lagos. His secondary education also took place in Lagos. He later gained admission to the Nnamdi Azikiwe University in Anambra State where he studied Applied Biochemistry.
How Gideon Okeke started his career
Gideon Okeke’s passion for acting was evident at a young age. Out of his desire to pursue his dream of becoming an actor, he enrolled in a professional training course in acting at the Lee Strasberg Institute in New York.
Gideon Okeke’s first shot at fame came following his participation in the first edition of the Big Brother Naija reality show in 2006, alongside other celebrities like Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and Katung Aduwak. The show, hosted by Olisa Adibua and Michelle Dede had 14 contestants vying for the grand prize of $100,000.
Gideon was the sixth housemate to be evicted from the show and Katunga Aduwak later emerged as the winner of the season.
Despite his early eviction, Gideon Okeke seized the opportunity to build a name for himself in the Nigerian entertainment industry. He has since appeared in over 100 movies and counting, including “When Love Happens” (2014), “A Place In The Stars” (2014), “Tinsel” (since 2008), “93 Days (2016), “S.M.A.S.H” (2018), etc.

Gideon Okeke marriage and wedding
Gideon Okeke is happily married to his longtime girlfriend, Chidera Uduezue. The two reportedly met during a Slum2School charity walk that was held in Lagos in 2017. Slum2School happens to be an organization for which Chidera volunteers.
The couple had their traditional wedding on Friday, December 28, 2018, and their white wedding was held by the poolside on Saturday, April 20, 2019. It had in attendance Big Brother Naija host, Ebuka Obi Uchendu, and many other big names in the Nigerian entertainment industry.

Chidera Uduezue is the lawfully wedded wife of Nigerian actor Gideon Okeke.
She is the CEO of Catch 22 Model Management, a modelling agency located in Lekki, Lagos. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Parasitology from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.

He welcomed a baby girl in March 2016 with a woman who was only identified as his baby mama. There are no details regarding this woman and the actor has been very discreet about the relationship.
The 39-year-old actor and his wife welcomed their first child together, Ezra Okeke, on July 15, 2019.
On Wednesday, July 7, 2021, Gideon Okeke welcomed his third child, August, with his wife, Chidera. The excited actor took to his Instagram page to announce the arrival of the new baby.
