Who is Kunle Remi?
Kunle Remi is a popular Nigerian actor and model. He is well known for his roles in the movies and TV series “Falling”, “A Naija Christmas” and “Tinsel”.
Kunle Remi’s full name is Oyekunle Opeyemi Oluwaremi. He was born as the second son of 6 children on October 18, 1988, to Engr. Joseph Ibukun Oluwaremi (father) and Omolara Sherifat Oluwaremi (mother).
The 33-year-old actor is originally from Ekiti State but was born in Gboko, Benue State. He had his upbringing as a child in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.
Kunle Remi started his tertiary education at the University of Ibadan where he was studying Fishery and Wildlife Management before he proceeded to Sheffield University in the United Kingdom to study Tourism and Hospitality Management.
In a bid to improve his acting skills, he enrolled at the New York Film Academy, Los Angeles in 2014 to study Acting. He also obtained a degree in Film Making and Direction from the same academy in 2015.
Kunle Remi came into the limelight in 2010 after he emerged as the winner of the 7th season of the Gulder Ultimate Search reality show. He started acting in 2011 and he got his first major role in the movie “Heavy Beauty” which was produced by Grace Edwin Okon and directed by Stanlee Ohikhuare.

As one of Nollywood’s most attractive-looking actors, according to DNB Stories Africa’s Most Handsome list, Kunle Remi boasts of a multitude of admirers with many of them constantly leaving drooling comments on his social media pages.
One of such admirers of Kunle Remi is Nigerian controversial crossdresser Bobrisky who came out in November 2020 to declare his love for the actor. He shared Kunle’s picture and revealed that he is crushing on him and that he hopes they can start a serious relationship soon.

Kunle Remi was speculated to have been in an affair with Nollywood actress, Adesua Etomi before she got married to her musician husband Banky W. Some of the reports even had it that Adesua and Remi were still in a relationship before Banky captured her heart.
The rumours started after a picture of Kunle Remi and Adesua surfaced online in 2015. Remi was even tagged as “Adesua’s Ex” by some bloggers sharing the news. The actor later debunked the rumours in a lengthy Instagram post in 2017, saying he only has a professional relationship with the actress.
He made it known that the controversial picture was taken from the set of the movie titled “Falling” and urged his fans to be careful of some of the things they read on blogs.
