Disney Studios has released a first-look photo of its upcoming live-action remake of Mulan.

The company on Monday tweeted a photo of actress Liu Yifei as the titular character, Mulan, a fearless young woman who masquerades as a man to fight Northern invaders attacking China.

Liu will star alongside Jet Li as the Emperor, Jason Scott Lee as villain Bori Khan, Yoson An as Mulan‘s love interest Chen Honghui, Donnie Yen as mentor figure Commander Tung, and Xana Tang as the heroine’s sister.

Other cast-members include Utkarsh Ambudkar, Ron Yuan, Tzi Ma, Rosalind Chao, Cheng Pei-Pei, Nelson Lee, and Gong Li.

There was concern over Jet Li’s health earlier this year after a photo of the Chinese superstar looking “frail” went viral online.

But Li’s manager, Steven Chasman, brushed off the speculations, telling USA Today that the actor is “completely fine.”

“We appreciate everyone’s concern,” Chasman said. “There’s nothing wrong with him. There’s no life-threatening illness. He’s in great shape.”

He also added: “If you took a picture of me at the wrong angle and wrong time of the day, I could look frail as well.”

Disney’s Mulan is based on a I998 Chinese folktale and the live-action film will be released in March, 2020.
