Zanku made Poco Lee popular, now he is on ‘Turn Up Friday’

Poco Lee is known for a lot of things – he is a dancer, hypeman, MC, etc., but he is most famous for his mastery of the Zanku dance (legwork).

In fact, Poco Lee came into public attention in 2018 after appearing in the official music video of Zlatan Ibile’s Zanku (Legwork) song.

Poco Lee whose real name is Pascal Odinaka Iweh has revealed he owes his fame to Zlatan.

He said Zlatan Ibile invited him over after seeing a viral street video he did and they eventually collaborated in the music video of his Zanku song.

Today, Poco Lee has shared the stage with several Nigerian big artistes including Davido, Wizkid, Burna Boy, Tiwa Savage, Reekado Banks, Zlatan Ibile, Naira Marley and Niniola, among others.

Poco Lee recently appeared on the #AMTurnUpFriday show with @iamDo2dtun where he thrilled fans with impressive dance performances. He even twerked, or tried to. Apparently, some Nigerians had reasons to think Poco Lee is more adept at dancing Zanku.

Turn Up Friday With Pepsi is Nigeria’s biggest live club show on TV. The show is hosted by OAP Dotun (the energy gad) with world record winner DJ Obi turning tables.

You can catch ‘Turn Up Friday With Pepsi‘ every Friday on Africa Magic Urban (DSTV channel 153) and Africa Magic Family (DSTV channel 154 and GOTV channel 2).
