Movie producers can no longer afford me – Omotola Jalade Ekehinde

by Staff writer

Just like her colleague, Jim Iyke, Nigerian actress Omotola Jalade Ekehinde has revealed that the reason for her absence in the movie scene is the inability of producers to pay her worth.

“Most can’t afford me, some can’t afford what it takes to have me on set. It is a new terrain, all will balance out soon,” Omotola said during a question and answer session with her fans on Insta-Story.

The 40-year-old ‘Ijé’ actress also indulged her fans by answering the question of why she included ‘Omosexy’ to her name and how she dealt with people’s perception of such a sensual name.

“My husband added ‘Omosexy’ to my name. I didn’t mind what people would perceive of me because of the name. People will always fall in line with what you present ultimately,” she noted.

Married to Captain Matthew Ekehinde, Omotola briefly returned to the big screens with an electrifying performance in the 2017 movie, ‘Alter Ego’.
