Late Oyo State former governor Senator Abiola Ajimobi was buried today June 28 at his private residence in Oyo State’s capital, Ibadan.
Senator Ajimobi who died last week of coronavirus complications was buried at around 10:20 am today in accordance with Islamic rites.
Due to connection with coronavirus, Senator Abiola Ajimobi’s burial was only attended by his wife, children and very few close associates.
Some the notable guests at the burial which happened at Ajimobi’s residence in Oluyole are APC gubernatorial candidate, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, Hon. Shina Peller, Hon. Saheed Akinade-Fijabi, Representative of Ekiti State governor, Senator Teslim Folarin, Minister of Youth and Sports, Mr Sunday Dare, and other members of 8th Assembly.
Ajimobi’s burial was delayed due to the circumstances of his death.
