A former governor of Oyo State and Nigerian senator Abiola Ajimobi is dead.
Ajimobi who was 70 years old has been on life support for days after a surgery at the First Cardiology Hospital, Ikoyi.
There are reports circulating round the media that Abiola Ajimobi died of coronavirus-related complications.
Ajimobi was said to have fallen unconscious since last Thursday after his organs totally collapsed.
It was also gathered that Ajimobi has been dead for over a week and his aides and family members insisted he remained hooked to life support.
Investigative journalist Fisayo Soyombo announced Ajimobi’s death over a week ago.
