Suspended jet company refers to Naira Marley as ‘bunch of useless people’ in plea letter

In a letter of apology written and sent to the Honorable Minister of Aviation by Executive Jets Services, the boss of the jet charter company referred to Nigerian singer Naira Marley and his cohorts as a bunch of useless people.

Executive Jet Services is the company whose operations was recently suspended by the Federal Government after they flew Nigerian singer Naira Marley and ex-BBNaija housemate Kim Oprah to Abuja instead of the judge the flight was approved for.

In the letter, the chairman of Executive Jets Dr Sam Iwuajoku explained that the flight was indeed approved for a judge but when they contacted the judge they discovered the judge was already in Abuja. The judge said a friend gave him a lift to Abuja.

The Chairman said he got a call for a charter flight to Abuja on Saturday and a manifest bearing the name “Fashola Babatunde” was sent to him.

Executive Jets boss wrote that he went ahead to approve the flight, thinking it was for the Honourable Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN) not knowing it was “a bunch of useless people.”

The letter was closed with Dr Iwuajoku apologizing for their mistake and promising that such will not be repeated.
