Three-storey building collapses in Lagos Island, one dead and others trapped

A three-storey building collapsed in Lagos Island this morning, killing one and injuring six.

The building located at Freeman Street, Lagos Island, was reported to have collapsed at around 2 am this morning, July 11.

Emergency responders at the scene has rescued up to six occupants while one casualty was recorded.

Officials of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) and Lagos State Ministry of Physical Planning have arrived at the scene and the search for more victims is still ongoing.
