Celebrity makeup artist Oluwaseyi Williams Anuoluwapo, popularly known as Kumbalee, is dead.
Kumbalee died in a fatal road accident on Monday, August 17 after a speeding vehicle crashed with a bike he was on.
Kumbalee who only just celebrated his birthday two weeks ago is well known in the entertainment industry. Kumbalee has worked on several movie and music video sets where he applied makeup and special effects on celebrities and performing artists.
Industry colleagues have taken to social media to mourn the late creative artist.
Actress Jumoke Odetola, in a tribute posted on her Instagram page, said she was shocked at the news of Kumbalee’s death because she spoke with him a day before his death.
Jumoke wrote: ”DEATH IS WICKED!!! Just yesterday, you told me how much you missed me Just yesterday, we were together Today, you are no more. What is the meaning of life after all? Vanity upon vanity. The memories of you I have is all the positive vibes you exhume. You just know how to bring out the sweet part in me, heartbreaking I will never see that again.”
Actor Adeniyi Johnson described Kumbalee as a humble guy. ”Rest well bro, you will forever be missed … God forgive all your sins… such a humble guy @kumbaleemakeover’.’
Musician Qdot Alagbe said Kumbalee did face effect for his music video two days before his death.
He said: “Good night bro @kumbaleemakeover person way do face effect for my music video day before yesterday die today he shock me o Na so person Dey die.”
