Davido signs DMW’s first female artiste Liya

Davido has signed his first female artiste through his record label DMW.

The musician and CEO confirmed the news Friday, October 2, on Twitter, writing: “All my fans worldwide go follow @yes_liya_!!!! Get to know!! WORLD DOMINATION !!!! #DMW.”

The new signee Liya will be DMW’s first officially signed female artiste. Liya is a singer and songwriter living in Lagos, Nigeria.

Davido started his personal record label DMW (Davido Music Worldwide) back in 2016 and has since signed several artistes.

The 27-year-old father of three recently signed singer and songwriter Deinde to the DMW family. Other Nigerian artistes currently signed to the DMW record label are Peruzzi, Dremo, Yonda, Idowest, Ichaba, Lil Frosh, Mayorkun, etc.

Mayorkun was Davido’s DMW first major signing.
