Charly Boy joins cast of ‘King of Boys 2’

Veteran Nigerian musician and media personality Charles Oputa popularly known as Charly Boy has joined the cast of King of Boys 2 – the much-anticipated sequel to the 2018 crime thriller of the same name.

Charly Boy recently shared photos of himself on the set of the production with other cast members.

Announcing his appearance in the coming movie, the ace musician who also goes by the nickname ‘Area Fada’ wrote on Twitter:

“We Live by Our Creed You’re Either At The Table Or on The Menu. King Of Boys.”

King of Boys 2 is directed by Kemi Adetiba who also worked on the first movie.

Some cast members from the first movie will be returning, including Sola Sobowale who plays the central character, Remilekun ‘Reminisce’ Safaru, and Illbliss.

New cast members that will be joining the project include Nollywood stars Nse Ikpe Etim, Richard Mofe-Damijo and Tope Olowoniyan.

The official release date of ‘King of Boys 2’ has not yet been disclosed.
