Stan Nze’s childhood and education
Stan Nze is the first of five children born to Mr Sebastian Nzediegwu, a businessman and Chika Nzediegwu, a fashion designer. Although an indigene of Nnewi South in Anambra state, Stan Nze was born and raised in Lagos State. He had both his primary and secondary school education in Lagos State. After finishing secondary school, Stan Nze attended the prestigious Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, where graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
Stan Nze also studied acting at the Stella Damasus Arts Foundation (SDAF) in 2012.
Stan Nze’s acting career
Stan Nze has loved acting since his childhood. As a child, he was involved in the creative activities in his school, including the stage plays and drama. Stan Nze’s first shot at professional acting was in 2009, when he landed a small role in a popular television soap opera titled “Private Sector”.
Stan Nze made his first major film appearance in the 2011’s musical thriller Hoodrush which also featured OC Ukeje, Bimbo Akintola and Gabriel Afolayan.
In 2016, Stan Nze bagged two movie award nominations, including a nomination as “Best Actor” in a leading role for Just Not Married where he starred opposite Judith Audu.
Stan Nze has since gone on to feature in over 20 movies and TV shows, including Tinsel, the Benjamins, Hoodrush, Blackberry Babes, Quarantine Zone, About to Wed, Dear Mother, etc.

Stan Nze in Rattlesnake – The Ahanna Story
Stan Nze starred as Ahanna in the 2020 remake of the 1995 Nollywood movie Rattlesnake.
The original movie is about a young man named Ahanna who is forced to take to a life of crime after the mysterious death of his father and the ensuing cruelty of his uncle.
Stan Nze said he watched the old movie to familiarize himself with the project and break free from Frank Duru’s style of acting Ahanna, in order to make the character unique in the new movie.
