Teenage student who got 7 As in WAEC dies

Chisom Chukwuneke – the 17-year-old teenage student who made headlines after scoring a total of seven A1 grades in her 2019 WAEC exams has died.

Chisom Chukwuneke’s death was confirmed by a close relative who also shared burial posters of the brilliant kid.

Chisom Chukwuneke made straights As in her entrance exam last year and also emerged the best graduating student from her school, Graceland College located in Enugu State.

Ms Chukwuneke was reportedly sick and flown abroad for treatment. Sources close to the family said she was already recovering before she died.

It was gathered that Chisom Chukwuneke died on October 18 in a hospital in South Africa.

Her funeral poster says she will be buried on Tuesday, December 1, in Okpuno Village, Umuogali, Oba in Anambra State.
