Governor Wike gifts Burna Boy house in Port Harcourt after Homecoming Concert, plus N10m for all artistes

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has promised Burna Boy a house in Old GRA, Port Harcourt during his Homecoming Concert held in celebration of his Grammy win last week.

Governor Wike also promised to give all the artists who performed at Burna Boy’s Homecoming Concert in Rivers State N10 million naira each.

Governor Wike has been criticized on social media for the massive giveaways despite owing workers in the state salaries.

Just last week, public school teachers in Rivers State took to the streets to protest over five years of non-payment of their salaries.
