Nkiru Sylvanus is an award-winning Nollywood actress and politician. She was born on the 21st of April, 1985 in Abia State, and she is currently 36 years old.
Nkiru is a graduate of BSc in Mass Communication from Enugu State University of Science and Technology.
Nkiru Sylvanus received a political appointment as the Special Adviser to the former Governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha, on Public Affairs. She was also appointed as his special assistant on Lagos State Affairs.
Nkiru Sylvanus has topped the headlines on many occasions, one of which includes her kidnap in 2012.

Nkiru Sylvanus got married to Amsterdam-based businessman, Stanley Duru in 2014. Their union was, however, laced with a lot of controversies.
Nkiru Sylvanus, for instance, was allegedly accused of snatching Stanley Duru from Oge Okoye who was her friend at the time. Nkiru, however, stated that Stanley was her lover before he left her for Oge Okoye. She has also mentioned on several occasions that she does not mind being a second wife.
Nkiru Sylvanus and Stanley Duru’s marriage, however, was dissolved in 2019. The facts behind their separation are not known, but some sources claim that the marriage crashed over allegations of dishonesty and deceit on Stanley Duru’s part.

Nkiru Sylvanus’s ex-husband Stanley Duru, is a businessman based in Amsterdam. He maintains a low profile and has very little information about him online.
Before Stanley Duru’s marriage to Nkiru, he was married to actress Oge Okoye. They tied the knot in 2006, but it was annulled in 2013, according to reports.
According to sources, the marriage ended over alleged accusations of cheating from both parties. Oge Okoye also added that Stanley Duru was a chronic alcoholic.
Stanley Duru is a father of two children; a boy and a girl, from his marriage to Oge Okoye. His first child and son was born in 2006, while his daughter, Crystal Okoye was born in 2013.
