BBNaija Arin’s childhood
BBNaija Arin was born in the year 1992 into a polygamous family of twelve in Lagos State. Though an indigene of Ekiti state, Arin was brought up in Lagos State by her parents.
According to Arin, she decided to become a feminist after her ugly encounters with men while growing up. The 29-year-old housemate stated that she grew up amid men who thought women were senseless.
Arin revealed in a conversation with a fellow housemate, Boma, that she had to start making money at an early age because of her pride.
She also disclosed that she singlehandedly bought her ticket to travel abroad at the age of 16 and she made her first million at 19.
BBNaija Arin’s education
BBNaija Arin graduated from the University of Lagos in 2011 where she studied Cell Biology and Genetics.
She then proceeded to Centennial College in Canada where she obtained a Diploma degree in Biology Technology in 2013.
Upon the completion of her studies, Arin decided to pursue her passion for fashion designing.
She enrolled at Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, Scotland, for a Masters Degree in Fashion Business and Management, graduating in 2015.

Arin is the CEO of Nola Black, a fashion brand she started in April 2011.
She is also an independent artist and culture curator focused on contemporary African Arts and Culture.
BBNaija Arin started art curating in 2015 and was part of the team that took Nigeria to its first-ever ‘Venice Biennale’ in Italy in 2017. The project was called the ‘Olympics of Arts’ and it was held from March 2017 to September 2017.
Arin started her career in 2010 as a Laboratory Technician with Reddington Hospital, Victoria Island, Lagos.
She then worked as a Customer Relations Representative with Maple Financial Services Limited in Toronto, Canada, from June 2013 – May 2014.
The housemate has also handled different art projects. She worked as the Project Manager for programmes and artist liaison at the African Artists’ Foundation in Lagos from October 2015 to January 2017.
She was also the Art Executive of Temple Management Company from February 2017 to March 2017. In January 2018, she became the Arts Project Manager and Curator at iDesign Art – an interior design company located in Ikoyi, Lagos.

BBNaija Arin has made it known that she came to the show as a single lady.
According to her, she was in a relationship before coming to the show but her supposed boyfriend hoodwinked her and took her money.
She added that she later got her money back but ended the relationship.
In the BBNaija house, Arin has been seen cozying up with fellow housemate, Boma.
She also kissed another housemate, Yousef, while playing the ‘Truth or Dare’ game with other housemates after the Sunday eviction night.
