Cubana Chief Priest is a popular Nigerian entertainer, show promoter, and celebrity barman. He is also a businessman and the owner of Xhrine Nightclub and De Angels Bar and Grills, both located in Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria.

He got the name “Cubana Chief Priest” while he was the managing director at Cubana Nightclub, Owerri, owned by multimillionaire, Obi Cubana. Cubana Chief Priest became popular in December 2016 after sharing a post that went viral on social media. In the post, the barman flaunted a docket showing a customer purchased drinks worth a whopping sum of 8 million naira at Cubana Nightclub.

Cubana Chief Priest, whose real name is Paschal Chibuike Okechukwu, was born on April 1, 1982. He is 40 years old as of April 2022. The Nigerian entertainer comes from Umuhu Okabia, in Orsu LGA, Imo State, Nigeria. However, he grew up with his parents, Mr and Mrs Okechukwu in Aba, close to the Ariaria International Market, in Abia State, Nigeria.

How Cubana Chief Priest started his career

Cubana Chief Priest started his career as a shoemaker in Aba, Abia State. According to the entertainer, it was from shoemaking that he made his first N1 million naira. However, he always had an interest in music and was determined to explore the entertainment industry. 

He admired music legends like the late Sound Sultan and Lagbaja from afar. It was his interest in music that made him pursue a career in club management and show promotion.
