Founded by UNILAG-alum Bolaji Johnson many years ago, Cakes and Cream has today become one of the biggest cake companies in Nigeria. As a premier confectionery company in Lagos, Cakes and Cream operates multiple stores in Lagos with a combined staff strength of around 400 employees.

Cake and Cream store locations in Lagos

There are currently five Cakes and Cream store outlets in Lagos.

1. Cakes and Cream store in Ikeja

The Cakes and Cream store in Ikeja is located at 104 Opebi Rd, Maryland, Ikeja. The store opens between the hours of 8 am and 6 pm every day, except Sundays. The store remains closed on Sundays.

2. Cakes and Cream store in Ojodu

The Cakes and Cream store in Ojodu is located at 102 Ogunnusi Rd, Isheri, Ikeja. Ojodu is in the Berger area of Lagos. The store opens between the hours of 8 am and 7:30 pm every day, except on Sundays. Like most Cakes and Cream outlets in Lagos, the Ojodu store remains closed on Sundays.

3. Cakes and Cream store in Magodo

There is a Cakes and Cream store in the Magodo area of Lagos, located at Plot 8, CMD Road, Town Square Mall, Opposite Magodo Brooks Estate North gate, Lagos.

The Cakes and Cream Magodo store is temporarily closed for now. Details of its reopening will be communicated on the official Cakes and Cream IG page. The store can be contacted on this number – +234 80 330 20863.

4. Cakes and Cream store in Surulere

The Cakes and Cream store in Surulere is located at 10 Ogunlana Drive, Surulere, Lagos. This is Cakes and Cream’s first opened outlet and also its biggest. The store opens between the hours of 9 am and 3 pm every day, but remains closed on Sundays.

5. Cakes and Cream store in Victoria Island

The Cakes and Cream store in Victoria Island is located at 20 Adeola Hopewell Street, Victoria Island, Lagos. This is the first and currently the only Cakes and Cream store on the Island area of Lagos. There are rumours that a Cakes and Cream store is coming to Lekki soon. The VI store opens between the hours of 9 am and 3 pm every day, except Sundays.

Ordering and having your cake delivered by Cakes and Cream

To buy a cake from Cakes and Cream, you can walk into a store and place an order. Cakes and Cream outlets usually have standby cakes anyone can come in and buy. Cake slices are also available and cost between N500 to N800.

If you want a custom-made cake, maybe for a wedding or birthday, you can call the store and get the rates and conditions. It is usually advisable that you contact the store well before your event, say a week before.

You can also call to place an order and have your cake delivered. Most Cakes and Cream outlets offer an address-delivery service, but same-day delivery might not be available on some days. You will get more information about this when you call the store.

What type of cakes are sold at Cakes and Cream? The answer is simple – all kinds. At Cakes and Cream, you can buy all kinds of cakes for your weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, etc.

Common cake flavours at Cakes and Cream are lemon, chocolate, strawberry, butterscotch, banana almond and coconut.

When you order a custom-made cake, you can tell the store the shape and size, flavours and colours you want on your cake.

Prices of cakes at Cakes and Cream vary according to the size and type of cake you want. You can spend anywhere from N5000 for a Swiss Roll to over N150K for the Elegant Lace Cake, mostly used for weddings.
