Nigeria was thrown into deep mourning some days ago with news of the passing of beloved wife of Pastor Ituah Ighodalo of the Trinity House church in Lagos.
An ex-beauty queen and philanthropist, Mrs Ibidun Ighodalo lightened the hearts of many. Her death remains a heavy blow to all who knew her.
Mrs Ibidun Ighodalo died in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, but she will be buried in Lagos. The date of her burial has been revealed to be Saturday, 20th of June, 2020.
A candlelight service was held in Ibidun’s honour today, June 17, 2020. Family and friends of the Ighodalo family converged to sing hymns, psalms and light candles in her honour.
Nigerian gospel artistes including Tope Alabi, Efe Nathan, Sammie Okposo, Tosin Martins, Buchi and others rendered powerful songs at the service.
In a deeply moving moment of the candlelight service, late Ibidun’s daughter, Zenan, was handed a mic and she rendered a thanksgiving song in the honour of her mum.
