The chairman and managing director of Tonimas Group of Companies, Chief Anthony Enukeme, who passed on two months ago at the age of 76 will be buried today, August 14, 2020.
A vigil mass was held in his honor yesterday, August 13 at St John’s Parish, Neni.
Chief Enukeme will be laid to rest today at his hometown, Neni, in Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State. The funeral ceremony will be attended by several Anambra top politicians and traditional leaders.
Before his death, Anthony Enukeme was one of the richest men in Anambra State. Anthony Enukeme held the Onowu title (traditional prime minister) in his community before his passing and was famous for his philanthropic acts.
Chief Anthony Enukeme’s company, Tonimas Group is a multi-million naira manufacturing conglomerate in Nigeria involved in the production of a wide range of products from lubricants to plastics, aluminium products and high-quality drinking water.
There are reports that Neni Town will be on total standstill for two days (15th and 16th) in respect to Chief Enukeme’s funeral rites.
