Reality TV star, Tacha, has impressed her fans and many Nigerians after speaking about the current #ENDSARS movement in a recent interview with Channels TV.
Tacha who has continued to be a strong force in the ongoing #ENDSARS protests stated her opinions about the demands of the people during the Channels TV interview.
Tacha who appeared on the 4th season of the Big Brother Naija reality TV show said young people would continue to protest against the brutality, intimidation and harassment of innocent citizens by the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) until visible actions are taken by the government.
The 24-year-old reality TV star and businesswoman said:
“At the moment, we have given the government time. We are all in Nigeria; we hear promises; we need to see actions being taken. Legit action being taken. I understand it is not going to happen overnight. There are certain procedures; there are certain stages to how all of this stuff can be achieved. At the same time, it is promises that we get to hear. We need to see action, actually. And trust me, the youths are not leaving the streets until we see action.”
Tacha made the statement during her interview with Channels TV’s Sunrise Daily on Wednesday, October 14, 2020.
Tacha’s speech during the TV segment has impressed a lot of Nigerians who commend her for her patriotism and stance against police brutality.
