The Lagos State Government has directed all public and private schools in the state to resume on Monday, November 2.
The approval for resumption of schools in Lagos was confirmed in a statement from the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on New Media, Gawat Jubril, on his official Twitter handle.
Gawat Jubril wrote:
“FLASH: The Lagos State Government has approved the re-opening of schools for all classes in public and private schools across the State beginning from Monday, 2nd of November, 2020 while boarders in public schools are to resume on Sunday, 1st of the same month.”
The Commissioner for Education in Lagos State, Mrs Folasade Adefisayo advised pupils/students to take their studies more seriously so as to recover the academic period they lost during the closure.
