Oba of Lagos’ staff of office mysteriously reappears at the palace

The staff of office of the Oba of Lagos which was stolen during the recent invasion and vandalization of the Oba’s palace has mysteriously reappeared at the palace, local media reports.

The palace had earlier announced that whoever had the staff should return it or face serious consequences.

As the staff stayed missing, some traditionalists in the state gathered to initiate the process of placing a curse on the person witholding the staff and all those behind the looting and vandalization of Oba Rilwan Babatunde Osuolale Aremu Akiolu’s palace.

The staff of office mysteriously reappeared at the palace a few hours after the meeting of traditionalists, it was reported.

The staff of office was reported to have been seen in one of the vandalized rooms in the palace.
