TVC resumes broadcasting 3 days after mob attack

Television Continental (TVC) is back to broadcasting three days after its headquarters in Lagos was attacked by hoodlums.

Hoodlums numbering several tens had stormed the TVC Complex in Lagos on the afternoon of Wednesday, October 21, in the heat of the chaos ignited by the Lekki Toll Gate shooting and set the edifice on fire.

The TV company went off the air for days following the attack. TVC is one of the many businesses vandalized and razed down by an angry mob during a spate of violence that spread round Lagos on Wednesday.
