Gospel musician and music producer Ebenezer Ayeni has died from gunshot wounds he sustained during an armed robbery attack in his home in Ibadan, Oyo state on Thursday, June 10.
Ebenezer Ayeni was attacked by armed robbers who invaded his home and was shot in the process.
According to reports, the gospel talent was rushed to the University College Hospital Ibadan and another private hospital in the city but both clinics rejected him due to failure to produce a police report.
He died hours later after bleeding out from the gunshot injury, reports say.
Ayeni was set to tie the knot with his fiancée the upper week before the incident happened.
One of the gospel artist’s friends, MC Shayor Comedian, wrote a heartbreaking tribute to him:
