One of BBNaija Season 7 housemates Hermes (real name – Chibueze Iyele) has been revealed to be the same guy who went viral earlier this year after the release of a video of him crying and narrating how his mom went missing from the Yaba psychiatric hospital.
Earlier this year, in February, the report of a man crying on video after his mom went missing at the Yaba Psychiatric Hospital, Lagos, circulated around the internet.
Netizens took particular interest in the video, noting how the young man spoke good English despite his thuggish appearance.
The same young man has now been revealed to be one of the recently unveiled housemates of the BBNaija Season 7 reality show.
As some social media users opined, the story about his mom who was later found may have given him an edge on the show as many fans of the reality program are already taking interest in him.
BBNaija Hermes’ full name is Hermes Chibueze Iyele. He is a dancer based in Lagos. He has appeared in music videos for Nigerian musicians like Burna Boy, Davido and Ajebo Hustlers.
