Ifeanyi – the three-year-old son of Nigerian singer Davido and his girlfriend Chioma Avril Rowland has died.
According to information reaching DNB Stories Africa, Ifeanyi drowned in the family’s pool in Banana Island Lagos on Monday evening.
A source close to the family spoke to DNB Stories Africa in pidgin (translated thus):
“Nobody knew when he got into the pool. He could have been there for hours before we found him. It was already late. By the time we got to the hospital, he was already dead. Oga (Davido) was not around when this happened. He rushed to the hospital when he heard.”
The singer and his family are yet to make a public statement as of the time of writing. Fans of the musician have taken to different online platforms to console him and his family at this difficult time.
