American actress Regina Hall just turned 47, but fans don’t seem to believe.
“Do you mean 27?” someone commented on Twitter.
“She looks better than me at 28,” said another user.
Before going on to become an actress, Hall, who was an English major in college and studied journalism in graduate school, had envisioned a career as a journalist.
“When I came to Los Angeles, I thought, ‘Oh, I am going to end up doing sitcoms.’ I didn’t do well at those auditions. I wasn’t that good at punch lines. But I do love to create a character,” Regina Hall said in 2015.
Hall has appeared on numerous television series, most prominently in a recurring role on the comedy series Ally McBeal (2001–2002).
Her other significant films include The Best Man (1999) and its sequel The Best Man Holiday (2013), Love & Basketball (2000), Think Like a Man (2012) and its sequel Think Like a Man Too (2014) and Girls Trip (2017).
Hall has been described by many Nigerians as “the woman whose face you must always see in an African-American movie.”
