Nigerian superstar David Adeleke popularly known as Davido has moved to Banana Island.
Confirming the news on his official Twitter page, Davido said he made the money to buy his Banana Island mansion from his song “Fall.”
The 2017 hit song “Fall” has been certified Gold in both the US and Canada, having sold over 500, 000 units in records. Fall also went Platinum in South Africa, garnering up to 1 million units of sales.
Banana Island is an upmarket residential area in Lagos State. It is arguably the most expensive place to live in Nigeria. In fact, houses are so expensive in Banana Island that much of the island is still unoccupied.
Only the wealthiest of the wealthy Nigerians live in Banana Island. Davido has joined the likes of Linda Ikeji, Kola Abiola, Mike Adenuga, Sayyu Dantata, Aliko Dangote and Diezani Alison-Madueke to live on the posh Island.
