Nollywood actress Joke Jigan has blasted a social media follower who called her out over her change of skin colour.
The actress had shared a ‘Before’ and ‘After’ photo on Instagram showing she now looks way lighter than she was before.
Reacting to the post, one of Joke Jigan’s Instagram followers accused her of not being proud of her dark skin. The commenter alleged that Joke Jigan had bleached her skin.
The social media user wrote:
“This is rubbish. You’re not proud of your dark skin hmmm secondary slavery.”
Joke Jigan hit back at the commenter, writing:
“Your mother wasted 9 months of her life because of 200 naira postinor! I weep for her.”
Joke Jigan is a popular Yoruba actress who has featured in over a dozen movies. Joke Jigan who is popularly known as Bisola Beyonce (from one of her most notable movies of the same name) is known for producing most of her movies.
