Nigerians blast Desmond Elliot over ‘tacky’ constituency bridge project

Nigerian politician Desmond Elliot is under fire again over a ‘tacky’ bridge he built as his constituency project.

Many have described the wood bridge the 46-year-old actor and politician built in Surulere as ‘shameful’.

The bridge which was supposed to be a reconstruction of the Shitta-Oke Odo Link Bridge was built entirely of cheap wood and nothing else.

Desmond Elliot who represents Surulere Constituency was recently mauled on social media over comments he made about regulating the use of social media and for referring to Nigerian young people as ‘children’.

He later apologized.
