Beyonce speaks about #ENDSARS, condemns killings

American superstar Beyonce Knowles has written against the issues of police brutality in Nigeria and condemned the recent killings.

The 39-year-old singer took to her Instagram on Tuesday night (October 20) to call for the abolishment of the notorious SARS police unit that has been terrorizing innocent citizens in Nigeria.

Part of the message the singer posted on her page reads:

“I am heartbroken to see the senseless brutality taking place in Nigeria. There has to be an end to SARS. We have been working on partnerships with youth organizations to support those protesting for change. We are collaborating with coalitions to provide emergency healthcare, food and shelter. To our Nigerian sisters and brothers, we stand by you.”
